New Pathways Training Course

Overview

Due to changes in the One-Parent Family Payment (OFP) from April 2011, new claimants receive a One-Parent Family Payment only until their qualified child reaches 14. For existing claimants, there will be a 6 year phasing-in of the new age limit, if claimants for instance take part in the Back to Education Scheme.

In order to meet the needs of this specific cohort of one family parent (Age 26+) New Pathways is specifically designed to meet this need in providing skills, vocational and progression opportunities.
