Overview

The St. John’s Central College course in Computing and e-Business Level 6 is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a career in the growing field of Information Technology and Computer Services within the wider business community. The course follows on from the Level 5 Fetac Computers & eBusiness Course. It covers the areas of e-Business, Web Design, Computer Applications,Maths, Desktop Publishing and Languages in order to equip the student fully with the necessary skills, both theory and practical for their future career.

Progression

Progression

On successful completion students may progress to the second year of the Higher Certificate in Office Information Systems at the Cork Institute of Technology, or the second year of the Institute of Technology, Tralee.

Students may also apply to a range of Higher Education Institutions through the Higher Education Links Schemes.
