Jewellery & Art Metalcraft (Level 5)

 
Overview

Jewellery making and decorative metalcraft have taken pride of place in Irish craftsmanship since the Bronze age. Over the centuries there has been a strong tradition of silver-smithing. This course will focus on the skills required for the making of jewellery and metal-craft objets dart, with a strong emphasis on process and design.

Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent

Applicants of mature years will be considered on their merits

Students should present examples of their creative work at interview
