Interior Architecture & Design (Level 6)
Overview
The Interior Design FETAC Level 6 programme encompasses the technical skills to design residential and commercial interiors. The curriculum encourages learners to challenge conventional thinking, develop their technical knowledge and skills and explore presentation techniques. In order to be able to communicate interior design ideas effectively to clients and other audiences, a strong emphasis is placed on the work practice element of the course.

FETAC Level 5 Award in Interior Design
FETAC Level 5 Award in a related area
Applicants with prior learning will be considered at interview through presentation of portfolio which demonstrates an equivalent standard in creative ability.

Duration
The FETAC Level 6 programme is a two-year fulltime course offering progression to the BTEC Edexcel Higher National Diploma in 3D Studies. Completion of the BTEC HND offers direct entry to BA (Hons) in Interior Design (Level 8).
Internal Educational Progression
Learners who successfully complete the FETAC Level 6 programme may continue their studies and pursue a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design.
