Interior Architecture & Design (Level 5)
Overview
The Interior Design Foundation course provides learners with the key skills to undertake residential interior design projects. The curriculum offers a platform for further study up to BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design (Level 8).
Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate (5 passes)
Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent
Applicants of mature years will be considered on their merits
Students should present examples of their creative work at interview

Duration
One-year fulltime study with progression to BTEC Edexcel Higher National Diploma in 3D Studies and/or FETAC Level 6 Interior Design Completion of BTEC HND offers direct entry to BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design (Level 8).
International Educational Progression
Learners who successfully complete the FETAC Level 5 programme may continue their studies and pursue FETAC Level 6 and/or BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture/Design.
External Educational Progression
Learners may apply to a range of Higher Education Institutions through the Higher Education Links Schemes.
